Privacy Policy
Effective Date: February 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how CoS Trading Cards ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with your use of the website and services available at costradingcards.com and any associated subdomains (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Service immediately.
1. Information We Collect
We do not collect, process, or retain personally identifiable information ("PII") through the Service. No registration, account creation, or submission of personal data is required or solicited to access or use any feature of the Service.
Certain preference data — including but not limited to locally generated card images, user interface dismissal states, your analytics consent decision, and session flags — may be stored exclusively within your own browser's local storage mechanisms. This data never leaves your device, is not accessible to us, is not transmitted to any server operated by us, and is entirely under your control. You may purge this data at any time through your browser's native storage management tools or through the controls provided within the Service itself.
We do not engage in device fingerprinting, behavioral profiling, cross-site tracking, or any form of passive data collection aimed at identifying or re-identifying individual users.
2. Automatically Processed Data
As is standard with any web-based service delivered over the internet, certain technical data is automatically processed as a function of network infrastructure when you access the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, IP addresses, browser type and version, operating system, HTTP request metadata, referrer URLs, and timestamps of access. Such data is processed by our infrastructure and hosting providers in accordance with their own privacy policies and data retention schedules.
We do not independently log, store, analyze, or act upon this technical data for purposes of user identification, marketing, or profiling. To the extent that this data is retained by any third-party infrastructure provider, its handling is governed solely by that provider's applicable privacy documentation.
When the Service makes requests to third-party content delivery or data services to fulfill its core functionality, those requests are subject to the privacy practices of the respective third-party operators. We do not transmit any user-specific information as part of those requests.
3. Cookies and Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (operated by Google LLC) to collect aggregated, anonymized information about how visitors use the Service — for example, which pages are visited most and how long sessions last. This analytics service uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate.
We implement Google's Consent Mode v2. Analytics data collection is disabled by default and is only activated after you explicitly click "Accept" in the cookie consent banner displayed on your first visit. Your consent decision is saved to your browser's local storage so you are not asked again on subsequent visits. You may withdraw consent at any time by visiting this opt-out link, which will record a denial and immediately stop any further data collection.
If you decline or have not yet responded to the consent banner, no Google Analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google's servers. Our hosting infrastructure may set technically necessary cookies or session identifiers incidental to the delivery of the Service; such cookies are strictly functional and are governed by our infrastructure provider's applicable privacy documentation.
We do not operate any advertising network or use analytics data for ad targeting. For information on how Google handles analytics data, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy.
4. Third-Party Services and Data Processors
The Service relies on third-party infrastructure and data services to function. When you use the Service, your device may establish connections with these third parties as a direct and necessary consequence of that use. We are not responsible for the data practices of any third-party service provider, and we encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third parties whose services you interact with through the Service.
We do not sell, rent, lease, share, or otherwise transfer any information about you to third parties for commercial purposes. Any data flows between the Service and third-party systems exist solely to enable the technical operation of the Service's features and not for advertising, monetization, or any other secondary purpose.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
Because we do not collect or store personal information on servers under our control, there is no user data held by us subject to formal deletion requests. All locally stored data generated by the Service resides on your device and may be deleted at any time at your sole discretion, either through the Service's built-in controls or through your browser's data management settings.
If you have consented to analytics, Google Analytics data associated with your session may be retained by Google in accordance with their data retention settings (default 14 months). You can request deletion of your data directly through Google's tools. To the extent that any other data is incidentally retained by third-party infrastructure providers as a result of your use of the Service, the retention period and deletion procedures for such data are governed entirely by those providers' applicable policies.
6. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the Service and any data processed in connection with it. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You use the Service at your own risk.
7. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Service. The effective date displayed at the top of this document will be updated accordingly. Your continued use of the Service following any such modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review this document periodically.
8. Contact
If you have questions, concerns, or requests relating to this Privacy Policy or our data practices, you may contact us via Discord at @vororblx. We will make reasonable efforts to respond in a timely manner.
